RAC support is planned for CY08. right now its single instance 10g and 11g.

Does that mean there won't be image and support from Oracle, but we should still be able build our own correct?

You can certainly try it, but we won't be providing images, and we won't be taking Support calls for RAC on Oracle VM.Alison 2 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

we actually use this setup in our QA environment so yes this will work but we do not suppot it for production environments as yet. cy08

We are planning a solution centre for showcasing Oracle Technology. We want to put RAC.Should we use Oracle VM and Oracle Enterprise Linux on top of this, and then put RAC? If RAC is not certified, will it be certified soon? It is already CY08, so do you mean by the next few months? Do you find this valuable? |
