I would like the LMS to be intelligent about the courses and programs it offers to learners based upon their role, objectives, career aspirations, and general interests. This intelligence has to go beyond the current method of defining learner group security and should not add any additional administrative effort. I would like features similiar to Amazon or netflix where learners can define areas of interest and then the LMS returns suggsted learning materials. In addition, learners should be able to review courses and programs for relevance and effectiveness. Level 1 surveys should be public so that other learners can benefit from the reviews before enrolling into a class. I would like to be able to assocaite wiki's or blogs to a course or program so that a community can be built around a subject and the learning can continue after the event. The wiki or blog would then be an additional knowledge pool for future learners. WBT enroll should be a behind the scenes process. I should be able to launch a WBT from the catalog. When I click launch the LMS should automatically handle the enrollment. That's just a few ideas for now! 3 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

I agree with Paul on the WBT process, the extra step of enrolling is cumbersome. A user should be able to launch from his learning plan or from the catalog and the enrollment should be seamless to the user.
