Projects, Procurement and FA integration

Anyone got an overview of how all this fits together. We are interested in tying the initial registration (for tracking purposes) of an item in the asset register to the point of receipt rather than waiting for the invoice to arrive and complete the financial detail - this can be done later, but it doesn't seem simple to make this work. Any ideas? Do you find this valuable?

i have the same issue at my end. I did not find anything that would allow us to interface at receipt. We will be customizing the FA Interface to allow this.
