I'm the editor at www.oraclegiants.com. I found the Oracle Computer Based Training (CBT) to be excellent. This is how I became an OCP and how a few of my friends have become OCA Certified. You can purchased the CBTs directly from Oracle Education. The great thing about the CBTs is it starts by giving you an exam. Then it tailors the training to only the items you need help with. Saves time. Also you can keep taking the exam until you know all topics. Then you go take the official OCA exam. Do you find this valuable?

hi, sinceresly i have to say that many of the questions of the exam are not based on oracle book. I strongly recomend read a book specialized in prepare for the exam. Do you find this valuable?

Hi everybody. I just get the Exam, and watched that many question are not explained in the oracle press books. I recomend to read especialized books to preapre the exam. Its not only to know the answers, you must be fast in get the meaning of the answers, time is one of the principals variables. Do you find this valuable?

Look for Oracle books.
SQL and/or PL/SQL and administration I for Oracle.
Having some tests software like selftest, transcender

I am OCA and i really encourage youngster to go in for certification. some may say it didn't help but technology u see is first a matter of challenge. Only certification can make a difference in the life of professional. Hoping to take my OCP exams soon so.
