Generic apache 2.0 and SSO
Apr 16 2009, 6:51 AM EDT | Post edited: Apr 16 2009, 6:51 AM EDT
Has anyone tried SSO with generic apache not OHS ?
We have a requirement to SSO enable an application that is running on apache 2.0.58. This is Sieble. It only supports HP-Apache on HP UX.
Below is the issue we have.
1. Sieble is running on HP-UX HP-Apache 2.0.58 (Apached 2.0.58 is a requirement for siebel 8)
2. Mod_Osso is not available with Apache as it comes wiht OHS
Requirement is to enable SSO for the applicaiton deployed on apache.

Any Suggestions ?

thanks
Shehzad

Maybe you could configure External Applications using the ORASSO and accessing the applications through Portal.

It's possible you could get it to work by installing OHS separately and then copying over the libraries and merging the configuration. However you'll have to check with Oracle as to whether that would be licensed and supported - I expect it's not certified. You might find it easier to try to get Siebel to work with OAS/OHS. Hi Simon,
What do you mean by merging the configuration ? I tried copying the libraries to apache but that does not help. OAS/OHS is not an option. As per sieblel, They support OHS only on linux and not UX.
Can you assist me on the first option you suggested.
