It'vas an additional cost, i your registration. Was US$ 200, and OOW send you to DVD Kist with all presentations 8  out of 9 found this valuable. Do you?

I was under the impression the powerpoints were available free of charge. I thought the charge was for the video links. If someone knows if just the powerpoints are available, please let us know. 6  out of 6 found this valuable. Do you?

For the past several years downloadable slides were free. Now apparently you may have to shell out $400 in addition to your registration fees for 'Openworld on Demand ' which is ridiculous... 5  out of 6 found this valuable. Do you?

The DVD kit should be available after 4 weeks, I did not find that a very interesting option. If I want to brief colleagues I would like to download some of the presentations I attended much faster than that. In 4-6 weeks I may have other things to do. However you can always download presentations from 2007, a lot of stuff has not changed, e.g. Application Express, SQLDeveloper etc. 5  out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

I am pretty disappointed in Oracle on charging the $400. As of this time, uploads of technical presentations have not been done since 9/22. So Oracle seems to have broken their contract with the people who thought they were getting all of the presentations, not just ones up thru 9/22. Oracle moderator, when will these be posted? Or do you plan to refund our company's money. They will be asking what we got for this fee. Right now, looks like less than half of what was promised ! 5  out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

I am VERY dissapointed too. I wasn't aware of this additional fee until now. I think that I have allready paid a lot to participate at the conference. So greedy - shame on you Oracle! 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

1700+ Conference Sessions will be posted by the end of the week with streaming audio and downloadable mp3 and presentation files. Keynotes and Executive Solutions Sessions are available with downloadable video, slides and transcripts. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

PDF's of the powerpoint on http://www.oracle.com/openworld/2008/index.html it's NOT FREE. It's the same that Oracle OpenWorld OnDemand!!!. If You have to pay US$$$ is not the same that FREEEE!!!!! 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

If you did not attend this years event but would like to access the content that was presented, you can through Oracle OpenWorld OnDemand. You have to pay US$700 to get the information

Many of the PDFs on Content Manager are show blank slides. For example, the “Oracle Enterprise Manager: Quick-Start Tips and Tricks for Getting Up and Running Fast” session contains missing text on those slides providing installation instructions. Perhaps the powerpoint slides did not convert correctly to PDF. I would like to see this fixed immediately. I paid $2K for Openworld and expect access to full presentation materials. Does this same problem exist with OpenWorld on Demand? 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
