Jun 18 2008, 12:41 AM EDT It would be great if there was a full fledged track on ODTUG about SOA, BPM and architecture. This could include topics like: * Architecture. Relevance of architecture in SOA environments * Governance * Integration with Biztalk * Integration with Tibco * Best practices designing SOA * Testing in SOA * Introduction to SOA * Introduction to BPM * User experience and portals * SCA * WS-* Let's create a program for the SOA/BPM track that we would like to propose to the organizers of ODTUG 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Jun 25 2008, 3:41 AM EDT Hi Lonneke, This is a great idea and would want to add more high-level topics : - project approach (where to start, why do we need BPA, what's the strength of the tool, do we need to use EPC for business validation, is BPMN more aligned with BPEL already) - Do's and dont's when working with BPA, SOA Suite - Migration efforts, customers are working in 10.1.3.x now, is upgrading to 11G (soa to sca) seamless, one click approach - Witch roles, competences, and skills do you need on the project, what's the expected effort - Re-using existing functionality, more stress on re-usability of experiences, skills - Difference between BPMN, BPEL, Taskflows (are used for defining use cases as well), ... 1 out of 1 found this valuable.
