if there are two templates in Xml publisher suppose A and B , if we give 'A' as parameter then template 1 should be displayed otherwise template 'B' should be displayed.if anybody know the answer just reply to this. I will be thankfull. Do you find this valuable?

We do not have this type of support, at least not through the UI. You can create a single template with both layouts and wrap conditional formatting around them so one or the other gets shown. I'll write it up on the blog in the next day or so http://blogs.oracle.com/xmlpublisher
