Hi,

I am having trouble setting up the header settings when I do SQL scripts. The problem is every 20 lines the header line at the top will repeat. So in a 20,000 line export the header line shows up 1000x times. This is a headache as it adds an extra step when I transfer the data to Excel (I have to sort and delete the header lines).

Is there a way I can have the header show up only once (at the top)?

I am running ISQL PLUS and tried the following preference changes:

HEADSEP OFF

or

PREFORMATED OUTPUT ON
SET HEADSEP ON |

neither worked. It still generates the header separator every 15 lines. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
