If you get an error when trying to install Oracle 10g on Oracle Unbreakable GNU/Linux 5

Checking operating system version:
must be redhat-3, SuSE-9, redhat-4, UnitedLinux-1.0, asianux-1 or asianux-2
Failed

$ ./runInstaller -ignoreSysPrereqs

When using the ignoreSysPrereqs, my runInstaller hung up, and when I hit enter, it takes me back to command prompt. This is oracle unbreakable linux - 64. Do you find this valuable?
