Copy FSG from R12 to 11.5.10.2 ?

All,I have the following problem : 1.- I wrote all the FSG in R12 2.- My current 11.5.10.2 production environment will be in R12 in Q3 It's possible, or somebody knows any procedure (template for Dataload, using other tool) to copy that?. I will try to use the copy between instances, but I saw one note in metalink that this doesn't works. Any comment will be appreciated, Carlos 1 out of 9 found this valuable. Do you?

Hi Carlos,When u upgrade from a lower version to the upper version, FSG gets upgraded. Hence hopefully you should be able to copy from R12 to 11.5.10.2 Cheers, Abraham 0 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

In Oracle GL, under the setup menu, you should be able to create a db link to copy your FSG setup.

Under the GL main setup menu you have reports menu, there you need to maintain the entry for the database link between the source and target databases. Once done with this you execute FSG transfer program to transfer FSG entities. Another thing to note that there is no major change in the FSG from 11.5.10 to R12 so they should not be any issue on the functional ground also.Cheers, Kamal Do you find this valuable? |
