Visual Studio .Net 2008
Dec 7 2007, 5:06 AM EST Microsoft gives the latest version of VS2008 but there is no driver from oracel side still for the ODP.Net. Can someone tell me, how we can connect with Oracle from VS2008 c#. 2 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Visual Studio .Net 2008
Dec 10 2007, 9:32 AM EST Are you talking about VS2008 ODP integration or are you simply unable to connect to an Oracle DB in code? If it's the latter what's the exception? 0 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Dec 10 2007, 10:18 AM EST Why don't you try ODAC 11.1.0.6.10 Beta http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/windows/odpnet/index.html Which should be coming out in production shortly. regards Andie. 1 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Visual Studio .Net 2008
Dec 16 2007, 6:21 AM EST The environment: Windows XP SP2 Oracle Database 11g Visual Studio 2008 I do not even install ODP.NET. I just copied Oracle.DataAccess.dll from a machine that I installed ODP.NET 10.2 then all my code works again. Note: I do not using Oracle Tool for Visual Studio. If you want the Oracle Tool you can either wait for ODP.NET 11g final or you can download the Beta 2 now for VS 2008. Ming Man 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |
