Please use the OTN discussion forum for Oracle VM questions
Nov 30 2007, 6:40 PM EST Although there is a discussion forum as part of this wiki, and you're free to post questions here, the Oracle VM product team actively monitor the Oracle discussion forum, so you may find your answers are answered in a more timely fashion there. http://forums.oracle.com/forums/forum.jspa?forumID=482 Happy Oracle VMing. RE: Please use the OTN discussion forum for Oracle VM questions
Nov 30 2007, 8:02 PM EST I had a private question about this that I thought you might all be interested in knowing a little more detail about how these things work. So here's my answer I sent to the email: I'm pretty sure each Oracle product group keeps an eye on the OTN discussion forums. I certainly do, and most of my peers I speak to do. If not, there are some Oracle Aces (gurus) who are always willing to help. The OTN discussion forums are a peer-to-peer forum, but I know a lot of product managers and support people who also jump in to help. The official way to get help with Oracle products is through Oracle Support, but the OTN discussion forums are a great resource for those without Support contracts, or for asking questions that don't necessarily require a call to Support. The search mechanism there is pretty good too. Alison Do you find this valuable? |
