Hi Rodrigo, there is currently an initiative for the HCM line of products to implement Web 2.0 features. Here is the link for the internal KIX page https://kix.oraclecorp.com/KIX/display.php?labelId=3221&articleId=43360.

I hear Tools 8.50 is going to have some AJAX calls for handling row insert/delete, field edits/change, prompts, etc.
My guess is that GA will be mid/late 2008.

R:
There were several presentations at OOW showing Web 2.0 capabilities. I presented two of them. We have been focusing on W2.0 capabilities for some time. My presentations should be available on oracle.com soon.

PTools is indeed introducing some new UE improvements like AJAX enabled partial page refresh, modal pop-ups, etc. In addition, we also provide PeopleSoft Workspaces, which gives you collaborative functionality of W2.0.

Here are some session presentations you might be interested in:

The presentations are posted or oracle.com in the 'News' pagelet and under the portal collaboration subpages. There is also a demo of collaborative workspaces in the Demos pagelet.
