Application Integration Architecture

I've been to several AIA presentations on OpenWorld, and I've become quite enthusiastic about the concept. However, I have a hard time finding out something more specific, especially things like: how is it implemented? I'd like to take this concept a bit further to use it for integration to custom made systems as well. Anyone who can help me along? 9  out of 11 found this valuable. Do you?

Hi, I attended one of the workshop on this at Oracle - Redwood city, CA, Please talk to Account Manager with Oracle and they can provide information on this.
