Software Engineering
Design, program, test, install, train, and troubleshoot software applications in VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Web service, and XML. • Participate in the development of our new products and modification of existing products. • Evaluate and integrate various 3rd party hardware and software.
Candidate must possess the following skills: • Extensive understanding and hands on experience with all versions of .NET (1.1 ~ 3.5), Visual Studio (2003 ~ 2008), and MS-SQL Server (Oracle is a plus) • Extensive knowledge of multi-threaded and multi-tier applications, OOP, and AJAX development. • Extensive understanding of XML, XSD, HTML, and DHTML. • Extensive Windows OS and Windows Application standard knowledge. • Seek help and support from team members and management when necessary. • Keep team members and management informed of progress, activity, and knowledge. • Excellent communication skills with effective writing ability. • Courteous demeanor, eager and fast learner. • Minimum of 3 years of solid development experience.
Following skills are bonus skills; they are not required but are useful at times on the job: • Experience with Unix, C, C++, Visual C++, C#.NET, Expression Blend, and XAML. • Experience with Mobile software development on Windows Mobile 6+ and Blackberry. • Experience with device integration using 3rd party SDKs and APIs. • Extensive knowledge of IT (OS, networking, security, encryption, etc
