SDE stands for Solution Development Environment. SDE is a collaboration environment for Oracle and partners to build and deliver industry solutions on Oracle Applications. SDE supports the entire software development lifecycle from planning, designing, building, testing to packaging. The embedded processes and templates guide the partners through each step of the development, and the knowledge repository provides templates, standards and industry references. SDE is highly secured, supports multiple languages including English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean and can be easily accessed through the Internet by qualified partners. SDE is an online environment for partners to build/deliver industry solutions and get validated by Oracle collaboratively. SDE provides the following key functions:
