SQL Developer Migration Workbench (SDMW) is as extension to SQL Developer. It assists customers migrating 3rd party databases (SQL Server, Sybase, MySQL and Microsoft Access) to Oracle. It is shipped as standard with the SQL Developer 1.2.1 release.

It replaces the old Oracle Migration Workbench (OMWB) for the following plugins

• SQL Server 7, 2000 and 2005
• MySQL 4 and 5
• Microsoft Access

and in the next release (SDMW 1.5)

• Sybase 12 and 15

It assists in the migration of tables, views, procedures, function constraints as well as many other object types. It also enables customers to move their data either online using JDBC or offline using scripts (like BCP/SQL Loader) to Oracle.
