the page on RAC is quite reductive. should one split it in many other pages? introduce only the technology and the purposes or cover other aspects like the installation, or the differences in licensing between SE and EE?
what should be covered first?

I agree that this page should stay. I would suggest that some of the pit-falls along with the upsides of using RAC should be added. RAC has been around for a few years, but it can still be complicated to identify problems.
