Private Interconnects on Windows
I have a question regarding establishing multiple private interconnects on Microsoft Windows Server 2003. I have found document after document stating "Oracle RAC still requires a minimum of 2 networks cards per node, 1 for the public
interface and one for the cluster interconnect." but I cannot find one that shows how to setup multiple private interconnects. I did find that on a UNIX or Linux a platform, multiple private interconnects are possible. I(See Chapter 3 of the Oracle® Database Oracle Clusterware and Oracle Real Application Clusters Administration and Deployment Guide 10g Release 2 (10.2).) Is there a way to set up and administer 1 public interconnect and 2 or more private interconnects in a RAC environment? Any help would be appreciated.
