The talk explains how a JDBC connection pool to Oracle database can be easily configured using GlassFish Admin Console and then utilized in a web application. It demonstrates how standard Java Persistence API classes generated from an Oracle database table can be used to create secure, reliable, transactional and .NET-interoperable Web services. It provides a glimpse of complete Rails development/deployment model and how it is integrated with Oracle. Finally it'll show how Oracle ADF applications can be easily deployed GlassFish.
