			Thread started: Sep 1 2008, 1:39 AM EDT Watch I have used this facility and feel it is an excellent facility especially for a "lights-out" operation where hundreds of database servers have to be patched overnight. The EM10g Deployment procedures fully automate this process including blackouts of the target, shutdown, patch application (after pre-staging into a specified area) and then post upgrade scripts followed by startup of the target database again.
