Oracle Data Provider for .Net
The Oracle Data Provider for .Net is a managed .net data access provider for Microsofts .Net development environments. (version 1 and 2 supported currently). The core advantage of using this data access technology in a .net development environment is exposure of Oracle specific functionality (for example adding RAC awareness to database connection pooling) in a familiar manner for Microsoft developers.

Watch
We have several .NET web services all calling a common DB access module using ODP.NET. Each web service has its own set of connections. I anticipated the connections to be pooled across all the web services since they are using the same connection string. Does anyone know why the connections wouldn't be pooled by all the web services collectively?
Do you find this valuable?
