Hands-on sessions are very good (the X-treme days in 2006 were even better), but the session times are TOO less.
One hour is spent just typing, trying to understand what's going on. And most of the time you cannot complete the lab.
Even after spending an hour, you are not comfortable about the new feature or case. I believe it would be a good idea to increase the duration of the session so that we can have better hands-on experience with good cases. Else, i think it is a waste of time in an already busy schedule.

The problem is the lack of availability for slots. We're doing a couple of SQL Developer hands on sessions and tbh, I dont expect everyone to complete the session. However, We make everything available online so you can reproduce the environment and complete the process.
I'd make sure in every hands on that i had the information i need to continue after the session. Otherwise, why go? Ask the presenters (if they dont volunteer it) to tell you or show how where to get the materials.
