Most of the pages on the Oracle website show that Advanced Replication is not available on the SE edition. Can someone post a link that substantiates whether Dataguard and/or Advanced Replication are available on SE?

| caffeinated24x7 | How do you replicate if you are using Oracle Database SE and RAC? | 3 | May 4 2008, 11:03 PM EDT by brinsmem | ||||

I have a two-node cluster on 10gR2 Linux x86 with 1-dual core chip in each node. I am interested in creating a DR environment in Atlanta. Since Oracle Database SE RAC allows up to 4-cpus with that cover licensing? Also, since Dataguard and Advanced Replication are now available with SE, what do you suggest is the next best practice for replicating to the new DR site?

Hi all.
We are configuring: - A PR environment with one database on only one server with two sockets. - A DR environment in standby mode (replicated via archived redo logs) also on only one server with two sockets. Is this scenario considered as a 4-socket cluster (thus needing SE)? Or can it considered as two different databases, each on 2-socket machines (thus can be adquired SEO)? Thanks in advance!
