Q: Can anyone submit a suggestion?
A: Oracle employees may not submit a session.
Q: If I want to present the session, can I do so and how?
A: Yes, you can suggest yourself as the presenter of this session. Mention that you will be the presenter when filling out the “description” field in the submission process
Q: When is the deadline for submitting an idea?
A: The deadline is June 30th
Q: When is the deadline for voting?
A: The deadline for voting is July 13th.
Q: What are the tracks at this year’s Oracle OpenWorld 2008?

Q: If my suggestion is one of the top sessions to be included into Oracle OpenWorld, what happens?
A: If you are not the speaker, we will seek out an Oracle speaker to present on this. If you are the speaker, we will work directly with you to complete your session information.
Q: Does an accepted session imply a free pass?
A: If your sessions is selected, we will work with you to develop the session. You can be the speaker or we can find an Oracle Speaker to present the session. If you are the speaker, you will get a free full conference pass. Travel and Expenses will not be covered.
Q: Are their limitations to what can be suggested?
A: No, but anything that is deemed inappropriate, will be removed immediately from the site. Keep in mind, this is an Oracle OpenWorld Conference. Attendees are voting. So you want your subject matter to be relevant to this audience.
Q: Can one speaker have more than one session accepted?
A: Yes, we are taking the sessions with the highest votes. If one person suggests more than one session and both are accepted, then both will be allowed. Again, that speaker will only be given one conference pass.
Q: How will this session be included if selected?
A: The winning sessions will be treated like any other session. Once we collect all the details for creating the session, it will be accepted and scheduled into the Oracle OpenWorld Conference. It will be on the web. Due to the timing of the selection and voting, these sessions will not be in the printed guide, but will be promoted on the website and in various blog and areas.
