Creating a Project
When creating a project there are a few fields that are confusing

In the Project URL field, you can put
anything.ocsprojects.com, where anything is any name you want! ;)
Make sure you have a PA number.
Invite your Customers
You can invite your customers/parnters with the membership link on the left hand nav.
If your customer/partner has never signed up for an Oracle account before, then this whole thing will be a two step process. First the you will invite them, they'll sign up for an Oracle account and try to access the site. They'll get a permissions error. You then have to go back to ocsprojects and add their name (now in the oracle system) to the project. I'd recommend at this point to give them the 'customer' permission.
Connecting with Subversion
- Set your username/password for subversion, this is DIFFERENT than your single sign on passwords. Goto the left nav select membership, then click on your name, as per the image below, your username is your subversion user name. The password field is your subversion password. Hmmm... my image isn't uploading, drat!
- Now you need to remember that if you are on the oracle network and you want to reach the subversion system, it isn't on the oracle network and it isn't on port 80, so you need to use the oracle proxy: www-proxy.us.oracle.com (port 80), in whatever client you are using. This can be a bit sticky/tricky, I'm having issues on Mac/Eclipse even after I set eclipse to use the proxy in network connections, so I'll probably just go onto clear-guest (i.e. external to oracle to try to log in for now.)
- Now choose your client. If you are just interested in documentation and not interested in coding then use the Windows TortoiseSVN client. If you are a coder, try the Subversion plugin for Eclipse. (or even JDeveloper, haven't tried that one yet myself, but I should).
- If all else fails, you can probably connect to the subversion URL using a web browser. This will give you READ access to the documents which may be sufficient. You can use the wiki too if you want to ADD information.

Signing Up for OCS Projects
If you have never signed up for an Oracle account before, then this whole thing will be a two step process. First the consultant will invite you, you'll sign up for an Oracle account and try to access the site. You'll get a permissions error. The consultant then has to go back to ocsprojects and add your name (now in the oracle system) to the project.
You will get an email from your Oracle consultant that will look a bit like:

Click the link, you'll then be taken to Oracle's single sign on page. Here you'll want to click the link on the right that says: "
Create your Oracle account now."Do that.

You'll go through some registration pages, fill out the info, and finally after submitting it you'll get sent back to the oracle single sign on page. Log in and this will take you to Oracle files (unfortunately) this isn't where you want to be. Finally, change the URL back to what your project URL should be, ABC123.ocsprojects.com ( obviously ABC123 is some other name ), do the single sign on and then you'll have to register for ocsprojects that looks like:

You may see a screen like the following, if you do, reply to your Oracle Consultant to set you up with the right permissions.

Connecting with Subversion
- See the section in the Consulting > Connecting with Subversion above. Disregard the information about being INSIDE the oracle network as you will not be inside the oracle network by definition of not being an oracle employee. However, you may have proxy issues yourself being inside your own network. If you do have proxy issues, try to find out if you do have a proxy server in your corporate network and then set that up. There are some video's about how to setup the subversion clients on the ocsprojects page.
