Session Title : ADF Enterprise Methodology Group - Discussion Session
Time : 1-2pm
Date : Wednesday 14th OctoberLocation : Moscone West 3rd Floor, Overlook I
The purpose of the two ADF Enterprise Methodology Group sessions at OOW is to summarise some of the topics that have been
discussed on the EMG, and to continue them as "round table" style discussions*. To this end, we have several well regarded ADF speakers who will each present on their chosen topic for 2-3 minutes and then lead into a discussion with delegates. Each topic is expected to take around 10 minutes, though of course we have a little flexibility within our 1h time slot.
The discussion sessions (Sunday and Wednesday) will have roughly the same presentation topics, below, though we may choose to juggle the running order depending on feedback.
- Avrom Roy-Faderman - Code Reuse
- Andrejus Baranovskis - Structuring, Splitting and Integration
- Steve Muench - AM Activation/Passivation
- Nathalie Roman - Testing Strategies
- Duncan Mills & Sten Vesterli - Skills Required for Fusion Developers and ADF Maturity Model
Chris Muir will provide an intro and summary of the survey responses about ADF EMG members, and Simon Haslam will try and keep everyone running on time!
* a "round table" may not be present ;-)
Session Title : ADF Enterprise Methodology Group - Demo Session
Time : 2-3pm
Date : Wednesday 14th OctoberLocation : Moscone West 3rd Floor, Overlook I For the final ADF EMG session we have a Demo session, codenamed "Show me yours!". This is intended to have some live demonstrations (internet willing) of people's applications that are in production. This is expected to be an informal "warts and all" discussion, giving delegates a chance to hear about what works well and what doesn't - the main point is that these are intended to be real, production ADF applications, serving a useful business purpose.
- Basheer Khan - ADF 11g dashboard
- Wes Fang - ADF 10.1.3 application
- Andrejus Baranovskis - ADF 11g insurance application
- John Flack - ADF 10.1.3 facility locator integrated with Google Maps
- Chris Muir - ADF 11g 'single page' govt. app with lots behind the scenes
[We are still compiling a list of demonstrations. If you have a production ADF application (10.1.3 or 11) and would like to give a 5 minute demo and provide a brief commentary of how it works (no slides required) please contact SimonH at veriton.co.uk]
