Viewlet is great at http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/viewlets/viewlet.html but I believe is good to add more for say 1 new viewlet per month. Or the viewlet that is related to the coming JDeveloper 11g.

Hi Experts,
I am finding a solution over there about suitable Reporting tools by Oracle JDeveloper 11g . I am migrating oracle forms to JDeveloper and trying to reporting solution.
How can I embed Oracle Reports in JDeveloper ? Anybody have solution about such as ADF with JDeveloper UI source examples? Please reply me.

Hi All,
I am unsing EJB3.0 and Toplink POJO and ADF Framework and JDeveloper 10.1.3.3
This is related to foreign key relationship. I am having two tables master and detail table. In both the table there is no record (Newly created table).
I want to design the page which will accept master value and detail value. i.e. Similar to display master-detail data using findAllquery object in Data Control Palette.
i.e. To accept input values for the newly created table. I design the page for the master table and created custom method to insert the record in the table.
But i want to design the page which will contain the detail part also in table format which will accept number of rows for to enter values in the table.
Finally i want to save it in both master and detail table when i click "Submit" action.
But i don't know how to implement the functionality for to accept the detail table part.
Please provide any link or sample or tips to design the page and to save the data.
Or we need to write custom method. Since we can't drag and drop the detail collection list from the findAllTable(). Its not for to enter new record because if values in the table means those values will be populated on the screen for fresh transaction also.

Hi Arun,
I designed the page and completed the transaction with validation and etc. This is my first project in ADF. I learned and got help from friends like u through forums.
I am facing one problem in search screen. I posted it in the forum. Please if u know the solution means mail to me.

Hi,
How to do :
i need to update the detailtable which should update the particular field in Mastertable field using PPR.
The following link describes how to modify master and how detail will automatically updates using PPR.

I need to do the same in reverse.Instead of Mastertable field i need to do in detailtable field and it should update in Mastertable field.
Clear UseCase:
Updation of Detailtable field should update the Mastertable field using PPR.

Feel like writing one yourself?
Meanwhile a number of the ADF/JDev sub pages have 11g content already. There is an attempt to annotate features with a version number where possible.... though an ongoing task and not complete.

ADF Query Panel With Table

I have a read-only view object for one table. and want to create a search page using, ADF Query Panel With Table. When the page is executed, table contains all the record of in db table. I want that table should not display any record when the page is displayed. I tried to use following WHERE clause
WHERE Publisher.PUBLISHERID=0
it does work, but when i use any criteria from provided pane on page, nothing is displayed as the result.
any one to help?
