Steps to recover lost "weblogic" password:

Thread started: Wednesday, 10:19 PM EST

Steps to recover lost "weblogic" password:
1. Shutdown your weblogic instance if its running, using the command:
$ cd MW_HOME/user_projects/domains/base_domain/bin $ ./stopWebLogic.sh
2. Set your environment variables using setDomainEnv.sh:
$ cd MW_HOME/user_projects/domains/base_domain/bin $ . ./setDomainEnv.sh
3. It is important to change your home directory to this "security" folder in order to perform the change password command. Run the following commands:
$ cd MW_HOME/user_projects/domains/base_domain/security $ java weblogic.security.utils.AdminAccount adminuser1 welcome1 .
[ Note1: Don't forget the period "." at the end of the above command, it is required. ] [ Note2: After running the above command, the file "DefaultAuthenticatorInit.ldift" gets updated. ]
4. Delete the following file from "ldap" folder:
$ cd MW_HOME/user_projects/domains/base_domain/servers/AdminServer/data/ldap $ rm DefaultAuthenticatormyrealmInit.initialized
[ Note3: A new file will be automatically created when weblogic is started. ]
5. Startup weblogic server using the newly created "adminuser1" account.
$ cd /scratch/aime1/work1/mwps1/user_projects/domains/base_domain/bin $ ./startWebLogic.sh Enter username to boot WebLogic server: adminuser1 Enter password to boot WebLogic server: <newly created password>
6. Logon to /console with the new administrative user - "adminuser1" (and not "weblogic")
7. Under 'Security Realms', you can see two admin users 'adminuser1' and 'weblogic', go ahead and change the password for user 'weblogic'.

Study the URLs below. THe method is to change the baseHTML file, it is now pointing to
the one loading the JINitiator. So this baseHTML=base.htm shall be baseHTML=basejpi.htm
And I should do that in a named section of the formsweb.cfg thus using &config=myconfig to call on that particular named section. There are a number of predefined sections in the file. Not a JPI enabled though.
Oracle recommends that you make your own config file since the basejpi.htm is overwritten during a new installation.That is also taken care of if you use named sections. Just copy the named section into the new file after the install.

Well...there could be a number of reasons to run in a certain environment. Third party applications, knowledge on a platform, etc etc or even the fact that it works and is more robust than Oracle Application Server newer versions.
However, I do hope that every company that chooses to stay on some version of - any - software shall be aware that supportability is decreasing. Immensely.

I need to retrieve a batch file that consists of data for only those 12 tenants. Using the dates and building names, is there anyone who can show me a sample script for retrieving this data?

Hi arshad, Rowid is an Oracle internal ID that is allocated every time a new record is inserted in a table. This ID is unique and cannot be changed by user. Rownum is the row number returned by a select statement. Hope this helps.
