My name is Richard Foote and I'm an Oracle DBA based in sunny Canberra, Australia.

I make the odd contribution in a newgroup or forum here and there although the lack of knowledge by many self proclaimed experts at these sites never ceases to amaze me. I enjoy presenting at local user group gatherings and I've been a member the Oracle OakTable Network since 2002.

When I'm not stirring up trouble in the Oracle community, I can be found listening to the wonders of Pink Floyd, Radiohead and David Bowie.
