Having administered, developed against, and consulted on all versions of Oracle since version 7, I've spent a considerable amount of time specializing in OCI, performance tuning, and researching Oracle Internals. When time permits, I provide support to the Database, Call Interface, Instant Client, ODBC, PHP, Linux, SQL, and PL/SQL community forums on OTN.

Until I have more time, here's my generic (and lengthy) bio which needs to be revised:

Jonah Harris is a hardcore developer, thinker, open source advocate, and self-taught database guru. His programming experience began as a third grader with nothing more than a Commodore VIC-20 and BASIC. Now, Jonah is a successful consultant with experience in over 10 programming languages. Related to academia, Jonah has worked on several papers concerning database and sorting theory. Jonah is also an avid believer in the power of open source computing and has been a longtime Linux and PostgreSQL user. Where databases are concerned, Jonah has worked with every major commercial and open source system to date; his range of knowledge includes everything from query language specifics to the details of Oracle, EnterpriseDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SAP DB, Firebird, Ingres, and InnoDB internals, file formats, and network protocols.
